经过多年研究,对于晚更新世中几个特定时段的古海平面高度,各国多数学者的认识已趋于统一。例如,125ka BP., 即通常所说的上一次间冰期高海面的海平面高度,大约为较今海面高4—6m;18ka BP., 即通常所说的末次冰期顶盛时期的最低海面,大约较今海面低100—l30m;凡与上述数字不相符的古海面记录,则表明该地方发生了构造运动或者种种均衡运动等造成的变形。
After years of research, most ancient scholars in different countries have become more unified in the understanding of ancient sea level at several specific periods in the Late Pleistocene. For example, 125ka BP, which is commonly referred to as the sea level of the high sea level of the last interglacial period, is about 4-6m higher than the present sea level; 18ka BP, which is commonly referred to as the lowest sea level at the peak of the last glacial period, About 100-130m below the current sea level.
