北京口腔医院与冶金部钢铁研究总院共同研制成功银铜钯合金。经临床应用120例证明,该合金具有良好的机械物理性能、化学稳定性及生物性,对机体是一种安全无毒的材料。并有熔点低、铸造流动性好、收缩小、铸造精密度高、技工操作简便等优点。适用于嵌体、冠和固定桥的修复。
