B501型电动汽油泵是在一般汽油发动机汽车中将汽油从油箱压送到化油器浮子室中的装置。该泵由北京汽车制造厂汽车附件研究设计室设计并定型;由崂山县汽化器厂小批试制。一九七五年十二月四日至十二月八日青岛市重工业局受第一机械工业部汽车局的委托在青岛崂山组织召开了B501型电动汽油泵小批试制样品鉴定会议。
