1999年12月6日至8日,全省人大民族侨务外事工作座谈会在长清召开。会议交流了一年来各市地人大民族、侨务、外事工作情况,传达了全国人大外事委员会、华侨委员会、民族委员会有关会议精神,省直有关部门也介绍了1999年的工作情况和今后的工作打算。王克玉副主任在会上讲了话,对全省人大民族侨务外事一年来的工作进行了总结,并对2000年的工作提出了明确要求。同时,还谈了做好人大工作的体会。
From December 6 to December 8, 1999, a forum on foreign affairs of the ethnic Chinese people’s congress of the NPC held in Changqing was held. The meeting exchanged views on NPC, ethnic groups, overseas Chinese affairs and foreign affairs work in various cities and municipalities throughout the year and conveyed the spirit of the NPC Foreign Affairs Committee, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee and the National Committee about the conference. The departments directly under the provincial government also briefed them on their work in 1999 and their future work plans. Wang Keyu, deputy director, made a speech at the meeting, summarized the work done in the past year by the NPC of the whole nation in respect of overseas Chinese affairs and made clear demands on the work in 2000. At the same time, we also talked about the experience of doing a good job in people’s congresses.
