Tumor invasion and metastasis characteristics are key factors affecting the survival and prognosis of cancer patients, including the degradation of matrix collagen fibers, migration of tumor cells, and tumor angiogenesis. Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) is an important angiogenic factor. It is highly expressed in liver cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer and other digestive tract tumors. It is closely related to tumor invasion and metastasis. However, intracellular signal transduction pathways that produce biological effects after VEGF binds to receptors are unclear. We used VEGF to induce hepatoma cells and observed the Mitogen-ac-tivated protein kinase (MAPK) family p38 signaling pathway. Its role in inducing hepatoma cell metastasis.
