The early 30s of this century, the progress of the work of the President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the United States Office of Management established a history investigation team and investigated the federal files. Then in 1934 the U.S. Congress established the National Archives as an independent federal agency. Since the archives activities of the time were endorsed and supported by top-level governments, members of the Federation of Archivists believe that in order to maintain professional development, a specialized association is required for this particular subject area. Therefore, in December 1936, the American Association of Archives Workers (hereinafter referred to as the SAA) was formed in order to facilitate the effective work of archival organizations and facilitate the cooperation between archivists and archivists. Since then it has become a practical self-service organization for archivists who have worked hard to solve the problems of archivists and has been working hard to equip all the archivists in the country with archival information and skills; seeking to resolve archives including external relations with all archives, academic groups and the general public Issues; encouraging the development of the United States’ own archive profession, SAA arranges training on the use of archival standards and advanced records management, primarily through meetings and publications.
