当前,文艺界正在展开真理标准的讨论,这个讨论涉及很多理论问题,其中重要的一个就是文艺真实的客观性问题。认真弄清这个问题,对于深入批判“四人帮”的谬论,对于我们澄清在文艺理论上的一些认识,繁荣文艺创作,都有重要的意义。有的同志认为艺术真实“包含着作家的主观能动作用”,“是观念形态的东西”,“始终渗透着作家的政治倾向和美学思想”,因而论定“艺术真实有其鲜明的阶级性。”我们认为,这一提法是值得商榷的。生活是一切艺术的源泉,艺术的真实只能从生活的真实中获得。生活真实是艺术真实的基本内容和提炼的基础。那末,什么是生活的真实呢?我们认为,它是生活包含的 At present, literary and art circles are discussing the truth and standards. This discussion involves many theoretical issues. One of the important issues is the objectivity of literary and art realities. Having a clear understanding of this issue is of great significance to us to clarify some fallacies in the “gang of four” and to clarify some of our understanding in literary theory and to promote literary and artistic creation.
