In order to realize his childhood dream, he became the first foreigner to walk through the Great Wall of China on foot. Because of loving the Great Wall, he went to the Great Wall to pick up rubbish and established the “International Association of Friends of the Great Wall.” He traced the long history of the Great Wall with a pen and published five monographs on the Great Wall. He used the lens to showcase the magnificence and vicissitudes of the Great Wall. He held several photo exhibitions comparing the Great Wall with the Great Wall Relics Virtual Exhibition and planned to open the Great Wall into universities. After 30 years of specializing in becoming the most influential Great Wall scholar and advocate for the protection of the world cultural heritage, it was his mission to discover and spread the Great Wall and showcase and protect the Great Wall. His name is William Lindsay, a lovely 60-year-old English man.
