教材是数学知识载体,是师生学习中首先接触的蓝本,其科学性是不容置疑的,对数学学科而言,教材更应当严谨且还应有较强的逻辑性,其次才考虑利用教学原理,便于学生接受.就此而言,笔者认为新教材中存在下述问题:人教版数学八年级上册第83页有如下一段文字:“又如,以单位长度为边长画一个正方形(图13.3-2),以原点为圆心,正方形对角线为半径画弧,与正半轴的交点就表示2(1/2),与负半轴的交点就表示-2(1/2).(为什么?)
