新时期以来的“革命重述”虽包含多重面向,但却一致以解构左翼革命叙事传统为己任,并一再重复着“革命加恋爱”的叙事策略。作为文艺母题的情色由此变身为拆解革命神圣性的工具。在这个过程中,人性论话语和精神分析学说被轮番征用,欲望话语和消费主义也乘虚而入,左翼革命叙事传统中的阶级话语、革命动员、妇女解放、群众集会、英雄塑造、审美风格等由此遭遇深刻质疑,然而这些对“历史真相”的还原、对人性细节的渲染、对私密经验的打捞、对妇女解放的调侃、对崇高美学的戏仿,却也使革命及其叙事蒙上虚无主义的面纱。
