In the late Spring and Autumn Period of Hunan to the Warring States Period, there existed the phenomena of more cultural tombs and Chu cultural tombs alternately distributed. In some tombs where more and more bamboo artifacts coexist, the excavators and researchers have different understandings on the distinguishing criteria of the more tombs, The understanding of the tombs of the more cultural elements or Chu culture factors is biased. This paper makes a preliminary discussion on the distinguishing criteria of Yuechu tombs and the tombs containing Yuechu culture, and puts forward that the distinguishing criterion of Yuechu tombs is mainly based on the shape of the pit and the proportion of the main objects in the tombs, namely, The dominant utensil is an important indicator of the tomb master tribe. Graves containing more cultural or Chu cultural factors should be screened through a comprehensive analysis of the shape of the grave and the contents of the tomb.
