1977年9月21—24日,我县受寒露风影响(4天日平均气温18.5℃),我们根据降温予报,在沙田大队竹山下生产队进行喷施长风Ⅳ号保温剂试验,于9月20日用长风Ⅳ号保温剂2.5斤加水100斤(1:40),喷施叶面,试验田面积0.5亩,对照区面积0.24亩。在试验及对照小区各选稻穗已抽出三分之一的穗各30穗挂牌标记。考种结果表明,喷保温剂的在包颈程度、千粒重、空壳率等方面都比不喷的要好。(1)包颈长度:喷保温剂的包颈长度为7.3厘米,不喷的为8.3厘米;(2)千粒重:喷保温剂的千粒重27.7克,不喷的27.1克,前者比后者增重0.6克;
