Dear Catherine: The world you grew up has far more chances than your grandparents. But in some ways, the world is even more dangerous and unsafe because there is simply no iron job here. We can admire the most exciting sporting events - a Wimbledon tennis, soccer leagues, cricket matches; the best pop music ever heard - beetles, blur, oasis and pure red band music; our country in fashion, Animations and computer software lead the world. Our country is also home to breathtaking landscapes and lakes, Yorkshire meadows and valleys, the Scottish Highlands, snowfields, coastal towns and Shevodian sheep. Our country has a wealth of languages, fine literature, art and architecture, and a unique sense of humor.
