The United States Federal Aviation (FAA) issued an Airworthiness Directive (AD) to prevent the uncompromising decline of the Beech 400 and Mu-300 aircraft due to poorly selected flap positions under icing conditions. This Airworthiness Directive is based on the icing test. Experiments have shown that the accumulation of icing on the aircraft’s horizontal stabilizer may cause the aircraft to bow down.
