农村有大量的草木灰资源。草木灰经火烧成,不但无虫无病,又因草木灰为碱性,还有杀虫灭菌之功效。纯净的草木灰不仅是重要的钾素肥源,而且是农家贮藏农产品的一种有效的“保鲜剂” 利用草木灰贮藏鲜辣椒,保鲜期可达3个月以上。方法是选择阴凉干燥通风的房间,最好用缸或其他容器,底部铺一层厚10厘米左右干净的草木灰,再垫上一层牛皮纸或3层报纸,然后放一层经过挑选的带柄新鲜辣椒(无病斑、无伤口),每放一层辣椒后放一层草木
