我在江苏省武进县坂上乡文化站工作。利用业余时间给县广播站、《常州日报》、常州人民广播电台写稿,已有7年多时间了。刚开始写稿时,我总感到要多栽花,少栽刺;多报喜,少报忧。这样给领导脸上添了光彩,对上、对下都不得罪,对自己开展工作也有好处。所以极少写批评稿。因而,一些好心人叫我是“吹鼓手”、“软骨头”。通过实践,我体会到,基层通讯员报喜不报忧,称不上一个合格的通讯员。1983年8月,坂上乡杨公岸村原会计庄桂生,利用职权贪污盗窃集体财物,并经常参加赌博等违法活动,村里的群众敢怒而不敢言。我就写了一篇揭露庄桂生违法活动的稿件,县广播站和常州电台广播后,村民中的反响很大,许多人联名写信给乡党委和县司法机关,一致要求严肃处理 I work in Culture Station, Shangban, Wujin County, Jiangsu Province.
