Lianyungang Port has a unique geographical location and very favorable natural conditions. As the east-end port of exit and the rare ice-free port of China’s New Eurasian Continental Bridge, it has an important strategic position and great potential for development. In June 2009, the State Council approved the “Development of Coastal Areas in Jiangsu Province.”
