Pancreatic cancer is a malignant tumor that seriously endangers human health. It is characterized by early metastasis and high malignancy. The prognosis is very poor, and the 5-year survival rate is only about 5%. The study suggests that the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is closely related to the metastasis of pancreatic cancer, while the abnormal activation of Hedgehog signaling pathway is very important for the maintenance of malignant biological characteristics such as the occurrence, development and metastasis of pancreatic cancer. In recent years, studies suggest that Hedgehog signaling pathway can induce EMT in pancreatic cancer through a variety of pathways. This review summarizes the correlation between EMT and Hedgehog signaling pathways in pancreatic cancer.
