随着世界政治、经济、文化全球化趋势的加快以及我国加入WTO,社会对英语这一国际性语言的综合应用能力,尤其是听说能力的需求日益加强。针对这一国际化潮流,我国的大学英语教学也在不断进行改革,教育部《大学英语课程教学大纲》(2004年)明确提出“大学英语的教学目标是培养学生英语综合应用能力、特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的交流。”因此,“培养学生的英语听说能力”已经成为普通高校英语教学的重要目标,作为普通高校以新机制、新模式举办的独立学院也不例外。独立学院由于自身的鲜明的特点,在教学内容和方法上应该与普通高校教育有着很大的区别,然而在现行的独立学院大学英语教学中,问题诸多,其英语教学改革势在必行。本文运用交际教学法原则,针对独立学院的口语教
With the accelerating trend of world politics, economy and culture globalization as well as China’s accession to the WTO, the social demand for the comprehensive application of English as an international language, especially for listening and speaking, has been increasingly strengthened. In response to this international trend, China’s college English teaching is also ongoing reform, the Ministry of Education “College English Curriculum Syllabus” (2004) made it clear that “the teaching of college English goal is to develop students’ ability to comprehensive English, especially Hear the ability to enable them in the future work and social interaction in English can effectively communicate verbally and in writing. ”Therefore, “ training students ’English listening and speaking ”has become an important goal of college English teaching, Independent colleges organized by new institutions and modes as ordinary colleges and universities are no exception. However, there are many problems in current college English teaching in Independent Colleges and their English teaching reform is imperative.
