世界博览会是一项由主办国政府组织或政府委托有关部门举办的有较大影响和悠久历史的国际性活动。第一届世界博览会于1851年在伦敦举行。1928午35个国家在巴黎缔约,对世界博览会举办方法作出若干规定。1939年国际博览局(简称BIE)成立,负责管理世界博览会的有关事务。目前BIE有47个成员国,我国于1993年正式加入该组织。自1851年伦敦举行第一届万国博览会开始,历经百余年,作为近代产业社会最大规模的活动,世博会书写了它光荣的历史。正如“一切始
The World Expo is an international event with a great influence and a long history, organized by the government of the host country or commissioned by the government. The first World Exposition was held in London in 1851. In 1928, 35 countries signed a contract in Paris to make certain provisions on how to organize the World Exposition. In 1939, the International Expositions Bureau (BIE) was established to manage the affairs of World Expo. The BIE currently has 47 member countries, and my country officially joined the organization in 1993.
