大学英语教学大纲把读、听、写、说这四种主要语言技能的分项技能称之为微技能,又把微技能分为句子水平上的和语篇水平上的微技能,这一划分对今后的大学英语教学有着指导意义。以往,外语教学过多地注意了句子水平上的微技能的培养,即过多地分析句子的语法结构和孤立的词和词组,结果造成学生死抠语法和词的孤立意义,而缺乏对所读文章总体意思的理解。因此,怎样改变这一片面的教学方法,使我们的教学成为富有弹性的对学生语言运用能力的综合培养是我们大学英语教师的一个重要任务。
