一、前言林分的直径分布是林分结构的重要特征之一。在天然林或人工林内,林木个体大小的数量分布能反映出林分的生长状况和林木之间的竞争关系,在林分整个自然生长过程中,直径分布将遵从一定的规律而变化。从经营利用的角度来看,林分直径分布不但可以直接检验营林措施的效果,而且在某种程度上,也直接反映林分的木材利用价值。在实践上,常用林木株数按径阶分布曲线的偏态类型,来了解林分内林木间对营养空间的竞争程度和分析林分结构变化的动
I. Preface The diameter distribution of stand is one of the important characteristics of stand structure.
