1999年9月30日财政部以财人字[1999]76号发布《关于开展向张庆忠同志学习的通知》。通知说,张庆忠同志是财政战线上的一位普普通通的公务员。1999年6月17日,张庆忠同志因病去世,年仅34岁。十多年来.张庆忠同志在自己平凡的工作岗位上默默无闻地奉献着,他虽然没有立过功,没有受过奖,但他却有着坚定执着的追求,勤奋敬业的精神,恪尽职守的作风,清正廉洁的品德。他以有限的生命,谱写了一曲感人肺腑的理想和信念之歌。9月23日,项怀诚部长在听取了张庆忠同志的事迹汇报后,作了重要批示:“张庆忠同志的事迹平凡而感人,催人泪下。虽然他只是一名普通的公务员,但却有着执着的追求,对党、对工作、对同志只讲奉献,不求索取;坚持原则,恪尽职守;一身正气,两袖清风。这正是每一位共产党人应具备的思想品德。”通知号召财政系统的广大干部职工要以张庆忠为榜样,树立正确的人生观、世界观和价值观,勤奋工作,无私奉献,为振兴国家财政和社会主义现代化建设事业作出更大的贡献。这里,特转载福建省委宣传部主办的《宣传》半月刊上介绍张庆忠同志事迹的文章《“俗人”张庆忠》,本刊略作删节。
