The Lord of the Rings contains a complete, dependent virtue time and space other than the actual one us people living in. Rings become one of the greatest books of the millennium. This great fantasy has deep influence and set up a new frontier for litera?ture. Being a linguist, Tolkien created languages and grammar for his fantastical creatures works. This paper is trying to have a study on two Chinese versions on how to reflect fantasy in translating.
