苏运升认为,建筑整体轻量化将是抗震减灾的发展方向。轻钢轻木体系已在汶川灾后重建中得到应用,其他轻质建筑材料也在国内得到普遍应用。同时,城镇化的不断推进也为轻质建筑材料在国内推广提供了良好的契机。对于建筑如何抗震,苏运升首先讲到的便是建筑整体的轻量化,而与此关系密切的便是建筑材料的选择。汶川、玉树、芦山等大地震的惨痛经验为我们敲响警钟,建筑材料必须变革。苏运升说,相比混凝土尤其是砖混建筑材料,轻质的建筑材料更有利于抗震防灾。传统的砖混结构建筑主要 Su Yun-sheng believes that the overall construction of light weight will be the development direction of earthquake disaster reduction.
