This article describes and discusses the historical origins and the real development of Yiwu commodity market from the perspective of the specialization of division of labor and the evolution of transactional organizational structure. It reveals the relationship between tradition and change, expansion of division of labor and organizational evolution, and arrangement of property rights and transaction patterns.
