在渠系衔接建筑物中,陡坡消力池是常见的消能形式,其中以菱形陡坡消力池较为新颖且性能良好。菱形陡坡具有独特的坡面外观而区别于常规形式。自缺口开始,坡面先扩散后收缩,使消力池中水跃的跃首恰好发生在菱形坡面最大宽度处,从而形成共轭断面内约略相等的水面宽度,并有效地克服了梯形断面消力池所特有的旁侧回流,这样就大大增加了消力池的消能效果。菱形陡坡消力池最早应用于苏联中亚细亚的灌溉渠道上,并由苏联学者 A.A.马什 Steep sloped troughs are common dissipative forms in canal-connected buildings, of which the troughs with rhombic steep slopes are relatively new and well behaved.
