随着新疆玉米制种基地面积的不断扩大,玉米种子的产量和质量的稳定提高,在提高杂交率的同时,应注重玉米种子发芽率的稳定,以更好地发挥新疆玉米种子高产优质的特点。由于我区某些年份或区域的天气异常,造成生产的玉米种子发芽率偏低,甚至于出现小部分玉米种子的发芽率低于国家用种标准的现象。我区目前已成为全国的主要优质玉米制种基地之一,年制种面积达4.0万hm~2,占全国制种面积的15%
With the continuous expansion of planting base area of maize in Xinjiang, the yield and quality of maize seeds have been steadily improved. While raising the crossbreeding rate, attention should be paid to the stability of germination rate of maize seeds in order to give full play to the characteristics of high yield and quality of maize seeds in Xinjiang . Due to abnormal weather in certain years or regions in our region, the germination rate of corn seeds produced is low, and even a small part of corn seeds have a germination rate lower than that of the national standard. Our district has now become one of the major high-quality seed production bases in China with an annual seedling area of 40,000 hm 2, accounting for 15% of the national seed production area.
