在水土流失严重、土壤瘠薄、肥料缺乏、的晋西北黄土高原,采用“丰产沟”种植法,能够做到“蓄水、保土、抗旱、高产”.据连续四年在中阳县的张子山、金罗、城关、暖泉等四个公社二十二个大队多点试验示范,一般增产一倍左右,有的亩产千斤以上.并能种地养地,提高土壤肥力,持续获得高产.二年平均,梯田上增产91.3~94.9%;坡地上增产116%.张子山公社赵家山大队1978年在小面积试验获得增产一倍的基础上、1979年试验示范面积扩大到155.7亩.种植玉米、谷子、高梁和冬小麦,平均亩产947.9斤.丰产沟面积仅占粮田总面积的14.9%、产量占总产量31.1%.由于“丰产沟”的增

The area of Fengchanggou only accounts for 14.9% of the total grain crop area and the output accounts for 31.1% of the total output.
