国际实验动物科学委员会主席,加拿大渥太华大学教授罗赛尔博士偕夫人,在香港主持该委员会的理事会及学术会议之后,应上海市畜牧兽医学会实验动物科学学组的邀请,委托参加这次香港学术会议的本会会员、上海生物制品研究所陈天培医师陪同,于三月三十日到上海,进行为期六天的访问. 罗赛尔教授在沪期间受到上海畜牧兽医学会理事长刘瑞三同志热情接待,并参观了中国科学院上海实验动物中心、上海第一医学院、上海生物制品研究所、上海市卫生防疫站等单位的实验动物部门,及上海动物园,并作了题目为“实验动物与生物医学研究”的讲座,与上海各单位负责实验动物的专业同志约三十多人进行了座谈.
