In contrast to conventional screening machines, although the mesh size of the Mogensen screen is very large, a layer of material is still present at the end of the feed zone and the upper sieve, indicating a deterioration of the separation characteristics. The new Mogensen E series screens have corrected the above drawbacks. The material being sifted in the feed zone is strongly loosened, preventing the formation of layers. The movement patterns of a linear vibrating screen driven by a motor and an E-screen are compared and the results show that the two screens have different modes of movement. Laboratory side-by-side testing of the traditional Mogensen S-Screen and the more advanced E-Series has demonstrated better screening characteristics of the new E-Series. In addition to the benefits of reduced screen clogging, the E Series screens offer the advantages of low cost, low power consumption and simple electrical control. More than 300 E Series screens have been sold during this period.
