一年来,东北人民大学中央人民政府教育部及东北人民政府教育部的领导下,为适应东北人民建设事业的需要,依照中国人民大学的课程兴办法,吸取苏联先进的建设经验与教育经验,“有计划地,有步骤地培养具有高度文化水平,科学理论基础,专门技术知识及为人民服务的思想的各种高级建设干部”。一年当中,为实现上述的方针与任务,以提高教学质量为中心,经过编制教学计划与课程纲要(进度表),加强理论与实际联系,建立教学研究生与教学研究组,编写教材,采用新的教学方法与步骤,努力培养师资,加强时事政治教育与抗美援朝教育。在进行上述各项工作中,第一学期以理论与实际联系为重点,第二学期除贯澈理论与实际联系的精神外,以教学研究室与教学研究组为重心,其他各项工作,则一直贯串中在全年的工作中。

In the second semester, apart from the spirit of linking theory with practice, the teaching research room and teaching and research group are the centers of gravity.
