闻立鹏是我国当代较有影响力的画家之一,油画界许多重要活动几乎都有他的参与。他不仅在艺术创作实践上令人瞩目,在理论探讨方面也极有成果。在中国改革开放大潮的推动和鼓舞下,他投入了艺术革新的潮流,在近十年中,推出了一件又一件新作。而贯串他全部作品的基本内容,是表现一种精神力量,表现正义,表现美,这就是他自己说过的:“艺术的审美功能是最本质的,无论什么体裁和题材,我都追求真善美的统一。”
Wen Lipeng is one of the most influential artists in our country. Almost all of his major activities in the field of painting have his participation.
