藏品是立馆之基、办馆之源。藏品的数量和质量是衡量一个美术馆国际化的主要标志,藏品建设是功在当代、利在千秋的事业。中国美术馆聚全馆之智,举全馆之力,加大藏品建设步伐,提升国家馆形象,努力构建国际一流艺术殿堂。2004年至今,一年多时间藏品收藏量增加近万件,是中国美术馆建馆四十多年来收藏量6万件的十分之一强。中国美术馆馆藏建设取得了较大成绩。毋庸置疑,中国美术馆必将成为世界一流的文化艺术殿堂。——题记
Collection is the founding base, the source of the office. The quantity and quality of the collections are the main hallmarks of the internationalization of an art museum. The collection of collections is a career that benefits the present and the future. The National Art Museum of China gathered together the wisdom of the whole museum, holding the power of the entire museum, increasing the pace of collection construction, enhancing the image of the National Pavilion and building a world-class art palace. Since 2004, more than a year’s collection of collections has increased by nearly 10,000 pieces, representing a one-tenth of the 60,000 pieces collected by the National Art Museum of China in the past 40 years.
