Shanghai Pudong New Area conducts one-year standardized training for each trainee teacher in order to familiarize newly recruited teachers with teaching routine and to be competent in teaching work. The Pudong New Area aims at developing a training paradigm for training new teachers and guiding teachers’ professional growth. As a disciplined teacher, during the process of directing the trainee teachers, the author felt some puzzles when the new teachers came to the podium in the first step through exchanges with the trainees. It is even more of a sense of regret to think about their own professional growth. Although professional growth varies from person to person, differences in qualifications, personality and other aspects will lead to different trajectories of growth, but in general it is nothing more than the first to stabilize the podium after seeking development
