In order to explore the relationship between the work posture and the prevalence of cervical spondylosis, this paper investigated the prevalence of cervical spondylosis in 509 staff working in a financial system and 240 workers as control. The results of life table analysis showed that although there was a good linear correlation between the age-related values of the two groups and the prevalence of cervical spondylosis (r = 0.9606 and 0.9461, respectively, P <0.001), the regression line of the surveyed group was significantly higher than that of the control (P <0.01). There was also a high degree of linear correlation between the logarithmic value of total working hours and the prevalence of cervical spondylosis in the investigation group (r = 0.9359, P <0.001). The results suggested that the working hours of bowing workers should be less than 4 hours per day.
