1 Introduction In power systems, continuous power supply has become a challenge to the power sector. The user’s increased use of change-over switches and modern electronic circuits injects unpredictable harmonics into the distribution network, disrupting the quality of the power supply. The phenomenon of harmonic distortion in the power provided by the public power grid is due to the increase of the current amplitude generated by the non-linear load in the power grid. Therefore, grid engineers must carefully analyze the current waveforms of nonlinear user loads.
