The well TX1 is the first well peripheral to the Niutitang Formation in the periphery of the Sichuan Basin. The gas content of the well is 1.00-3.06m 3 / t and the gas content is good, which shows a good exploration prospect. However, the complicated structure and the lower aquifers have challenged the reservoir reconstruction in the later stage. The well TX1 was fractured and the gas was ignited 2 ~ 3m during the return flow, but the effluent flow rate was more than 100% The result of fracturing fitting evaluation shows that TX1 well communicated with the bottom aquifer during the fracturing process, resulting in serious water outflow after fracturing. The complex fracture network was not formed by fracturing, which limited the effect of reservoir reconstruction. Therefore, The limitation of volumetric modification of vertical well fracturing can only be used as an evaluation method for gas and productivity of shale reservoirs. Commercial exploitation of shale gas is also realized through horizontal well drilling and large-scale fracturing. The drilling and fracturing experience of the well points the way to the next exploration and development in this area.
