河南地处中原,在中国历史上占有重要的地位。河南古代冶铁业,尤其是封建社会前期(汉魏以前)在全国占有重要的位置。研究河南古代冶铁技术的发展,对中国古代冶铁史的研究具有重要的意义。据统计,在河南境内,已发现与古代冶铁有关的遗址(包括冶炼、铸造、采矿遗址),从战国到明清63处。这些遗址有些进行了发掘,并进行了分析研究,有些只进行了调查。在河南出土的铁器中,断代准确的370件战国至汉魏的铁器已进行了分析研究。尤其是对登封阳城、新郑仓城战国
Located in the Central Plains, Henan occupies an important position in Chinese history. Ancient Henan iron smelting industry, especially the early feudal society (before the Han and Wei dynasties) occupy an important position in the country. Studying the development of ancient smelting iron technology in Henan is of great significance to the study of iron smelting history in ancient China. According to statistics, in Henan Province, ruins (including smelting, founding and mining sites) related to ancient metallurgy have been found, ranging from the Warring States Period to 63 in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Some of these sites were excavated, analyzed and studied, while others were surveyed.
