English, as a global language, has expanded on many countries and fields. With the spread of English, scholars started to look at the influence it has brought to culture, economy, and politics. Even though English is accepted by different countries, the de-bate on its spread and influence is always in a hot spot. As linguistic imperialism being used to describe the position of English, it is also contentious.
