我国体育课程受竞技体育和体制教育的影响,绝大部分课程都以经济运动项目为主。体育课程教学从学习动作到布置场地购置器材都采用西方竞技化的,很少考虑学生的学习兴趣与接受能力。相对于西方的竞技运动,我国的民间传统体育的娱乐价值更高,同时具有很高的文化价值,许多民间游戏不受场地、设备与年龄的限制,其内容具有娱乐性和趣味性,是平时学生们在课间经常玩耍的项目,深受学生们的喜爱,将这些学生们喜闻乐见的传统游戏经过改造引入小学体育课堂中,不仅可以补充发展学校的体育教学内容,还可以丰富学校体育的课程。
