4月27日,湖北省党史工作会议在武汉召开。省委副书记杨永良到会作了重要讲话。省委常委、宣传部长缪合林主持了会议。 这次会议的主题是,贯彻落实全国党史研究室主任会议精神,总结交流一年来落实江泽民同志对党史工作重要指示的经验,部署迎接建党80周年的工作。 杨永良同志在讲话中指出:党史工作是我们党的一项重要工作,是党的建设不可缺少的重要组成部分。我们党在长期领导革命、建设和改革的过程中一贯重视党史工作,重视党史学习和研究,重视历史经验的借鉴和运用。我们必须进一步提高对党史工作重要性的认识,增强做好党史工作的责任感,在全省党员干部中形成学习党史的浓厚风气。 杨永良同志强调,作好党史工作同作好其它工作一样,关键在党,关键在人。中共党史研究的是执政党的历史,具有极强的党性、政治性,要求党史工作者不仅要具备过硬的专业素质,而且要具备很高的政治素质。全省党史工作者,特别是各级党史部门的领导同志,务必明确肩上承担的历史责任,不断提高自身的综合素质。

Comrade Yang Yongliang emphasized that the key to building a party history work is the same as making other achievements. The key lies in the party and the key lies in people. The history of the CPC history is the history of the ruling party, with strong party spirit and political nature. It requires that party history workers not only have excellent professional qualities, but also have high political qualities. Party history workers throughout the province, especially the leading comrades in the party history departments at all levels, must make clear the historical responsibilities they shoulder and continue to improve their overall quality.
