五四新旧文化交替时期的张恨水笔下的女性人物总是传统性大于现代性、旧大于新、驯服性大于叛逆性,但最终却多是以悲剧结局。本文通过联系当时特定的社会背景从西方文化的传入对中国市民阶级的影响以及中国国内传统文化影响两方面来分析新旧文化交替下市民女性悲剧产生的原因。
In the period of the May 4th Movement, the female characters in Zhang Henshui’s writing are always more traditional than modernity, older than new, more timid than rebellious, but in the end they mostly end with tragedy. This article analyzes the causes of the tragedies of the citizen women under the old and the new culture by linking the specific social background at that time with the influence of the Western culture on the Chinese citizen class and the influence of the traditional Chinese culture.
