本文通过对认知策略使用情况的调研探析英语专业学生的英语阅读思维活动。调研的结果表明:就阅读过程中认知策略的使用率而言,分析推理类的使用率最高,综合归纳类最低。然而六大类的使用率都处于中间水平。从认知策略的使用情况可推断学生的演绎推理思维一般比较活跃,但仍需加强深度;不少学生缺乏综合归纳以及空间思维的意识和实践;总体看来大多数学生的英语阅读思维不够活跃。本文认为提高思维能力对于提高阅读理解能力有很大的促进作用,应成为英语阅读教学的重要内容之一。
In this paper, the use of cognitive strategies to investigate the English majors in English reading thinking activities. The research results show that: in terms of the usage rate of cognitive strategies in reading, the usage rate of analytical reasoning is the highest, and the comprehensive induction is the lowest. However, the usage rates for all six categories are at intermediate levels. From the use of cognitive strategies, it can be inferred that students’ deductive reasoning is generally more active, but still needs to deepen their depth. Many students lack awareness and practice of comprehensive induction and spatial thinking. Generally speaking, most students are not active in reading English . This paper argues that improving the ability of thinking has a great role in promoting reading comprehension and should be one of the most important parts of English reading teaching.
