由民政部正式批准成立的中国锅炉压力容器检验协会于1990年4月召开了成立大会,这是我国锅炉压力容器安全监察与检验史上的一件大事。一直关心和支持锅炉压力容器检验事业发展的前国家领导人、老一辈无产阶资革命家、现任中共中央顾问委员会副主任、中国锅炉压力容器检验协会名誉会长薄一波同志在人民大会堂亲切接见了出席成立大会的全体代表和来自美国、英国、日本、西德、意大利五国七个同行机构的外国来宾并合影留念,同时发表了重要讲话。薄老在担任国家领导人期间就十分重视锅炉压力容器的安全管理工作。在他的指导下,1963年重新恢复了被撤销的锅炉压力容器安全监察局;1982年又亲自出席全国锅炉压力容器安全监察
The China Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection Association, which was formally approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, convened the inaugural meeting in April 1990, which is a major event in the history of boiler pressure vessel safety inspection and inspection in China.
