中国画,同其它艺术领域一样,大凡一种风格的形成,一个流派的兴起,都是很不易的,可谓“冰冻三尺,非一日之寒”。譬如现代中国画大师齐白石画的虾和螃蟹,确实凝练生动,世所公认,堪称一绝。殊不知老人在对传统技法的刻苦磨炼中,结合实际写生,无数次地从悟性中产生出来自身的意象思维,再在笔墨上反复实践,反复提练竟达半个世纪之久,才画到了如此炉火纯青的地步。然而,后世学步者却不知从大师杰作中的功力和形神的价值着眼,只是在一般表面形象上临摹一年半载,便希图“著称”于世。真正能得其精髓者确是凤毛麟角。其中也有一些见识肤浅、不自量力,自称是齐派门人的“画家”。其实他们只不过是以临摹虾、蟹为能事,实际上早已歪曲了齐派画法精神。然而,竟敢自称是继齐派之风格、出个人之面目,真是自欺欺人,可悲又可笑!
