郭若虚在其画史名作《图画见闻志》中,提出了绘画的“心印”说,认为绘画是“本自心源,想成形迹”。他的这一命题,不仅体现了北宋理学中的“心性”学说对其绘画美学思想的影响,而且也反映了北宋中后期在理学侵浸下绘画发展的新方向。
Guo Ruoxu put forward the painting’s “heart and mind” in his masterpiece of painting history “Seeing the Picture,” saying that painting is “the source of this self-interest and wants to form a trace.” His proposition not only embodies the influence of “Xinxing ” theory in Northern Song Neo - Confucianism on his painting aesthetic thoughts, but also reflects the new direction of the development of painting under the influence of Confucianism in the late Northern Song Dynasty.
