Although living in the first half of the 19th century in the United States, Allan Poe is an amateur writer beyond the present age. However, due to the rich modern elements contained in his works, he has enjoyed a rising position in the literary history of the United States and the world. This thesis intends to analyze the repetition phenomenon in the poem “Crow” from the perspective of deconstructionism and tries to illustrate the author’s prophecy and reflection on the self-concept and existing state of the modern people behind these repeated phenomena.
