The symposium on comprehensive development and countermeasures of dry land agriculture in Northern China and the experience conference on dryland agricultural development co-hosted by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Chinese Agricultural Society and Henan Provincial Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Office were held on October 26-30, 1993 in Henan Province Sanmenxia held, more than 150 experts and scholars from 16 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in northern China attended the meeting.
