茶叶是我国的特产,世界上最早喝茶和最早种茶的是我们中国人。早在二千年前的东汉时代,四川的茶叶便已当作一种商品向各地转运。当时的茶叶原是当作一种草药吃的,因为它兼有解毒、杀菌、收敛三种作用,在民间应用很广。到了一千五六百年前的南北朝时代,茶叶才成为一种普通的饮料。此后,茶叶的栽培逐渐盛行,到了唐朝,陆羽就根据当时人民栽茶和制茶的一些实际经验,写了一部“茶经”,这本书的刊行大大的普及了采制茶叶的常识,提高了我国人对饮茶的兴趣,使茶业越发兴旺。在宋明以后,我国专论茶叶的著作,很是丰富,这些著作大都根据茶经为蓝本,再结合当地的实际情况辑合而成,都有一定的参考价值。

Most of these works are based on the scriptures modeled on tea and combined with the actual situation on the ground, all of which have certain reference value.
